Position Overview:
We are seeking a Field Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, have a strong work ethic, and thrive in outdoor environments. The position involves working at scheduled construction sites and playing a key role in delivering Dayton's professional services. Flexibility in scheduling is preferred, as last-minute servicing may occasionally arise.
Key Responsibilities:
Review daily schedules and instructions from the project or regional manager.
Install our equipment to collect vibration monitoring data on jobsite and prepare daily field reports. Ensure all reports are completed on time before the submission deadline.
Upload activity notes to Dayton’s project management software for team collaboration.
Perform physical labor, including:
- Lifting and transporting car batteries.
- Safely setting up and using ladders.
- Digging post holes.
- Using power tools such as drills and screw guns.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (required)
- High School diploma or equivalent (required)
- Proficiency in English (required)
- Enjoy working outdoors
- Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand/power tools safely
- Basic computer skills
Schedule and Benefit:
- Typical Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Monday to Friday) (sometimes earlier, sometimes later)
- Bi weekly pay schedule
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
