DaySpring Assisted Living is looking for a Cook to join our dedicated kitchen team and contribute to our mission of "Serving Older Adults with God's Love". Each shift is a part-time, which includes 1 day during the week and every other weekend for 1st shift or 2nd shift. This position is great for someone who is looking for part-time work and has experience in large-batch cooking.

Position Details:
- Schedules Available:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM - Part-Time (16 hours per week)
- 2nd Shift: 11:30 AM - 7:30 PM- Part-Time (16 hours per week)
Pay: $16.00 – $18.50 per hour, based on experience and education
Job Type: Part-time, 1 day/week plus every other weekend. Relief/additional hours when available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare great meals: for up to 100 residents following established menus and guidelines.
- Ensure food quality: Present meals that exceed the expectations of residents and meet all food safety regulations.
- Food prep & kitchen maintenance: Assist with food preparation, clean-up, dishwashing, sanitizing kitchen equipment, and storing supplies.
- Work as a team: Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain smooth and efficient operation.
Qualifications:
- Experience in large batch cooking preferred (healthcare, catering, banquet service, schools, or restaurant environment).
- Applicants should have a strong work history, reliability, and a heart for service.
