Dayspring Restoration is is seeking a General Manager to join our Kalispell, MT team.


Dayspring Restoration is a Montana-based, RIA-certified restoration company with over 25 years of experience providing full-service water, fire, mold, and storm damage restoration and reconstruction across seven locations statewide. We are a trusted, fast-response leader in the industry known for delivering complete, start-to-finish restoration solutions.


This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a results-driven operator who thrives in both strategic and hands-on environments. As General Manager, you will own overall branch performance, including P&L responsibility, team development, operational execution, and customer satisfaction all while shaping the culture and future growth of the location.


You’ll lead skilled restoration and reconstruction teams, build strong subcontractor and vendor networks, and ensure projects are delivered efficiently and profitably in a 24/7 emergency services environment. This role is ideal for a proven leader in restoration who wants to step into a position with significant autonomy, visibility, and the ability to directly influence business success and expansion.

Summary:

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of restoration and reconstruction projects, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This role involves leading teams, managing budgets, developing business strategies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards in restoration services related to water, fire, mold, and storm damage.


Responsibilities: 

  • Embodying the company’s Mission Statement and Core Values at all times and creating a culture where all employees do so, as well
  • Hiring and coaching the right people at the right times to ensure continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Developing and maintaining a culture of safety
  • Meeting or exceeding the site’s P&L goals
  • Analyzing financial and operational reporting and implementing improvements
  • Ensuring that jobs are progressing appropriately and that resources are properly allocated
  • Managing escalations from dissatisfied customers or referral sources
  • Creating a network of quality subcontractors, temporary labor, and suppliers
  • Designing operations capable of handling work outside of normal hours, such as on-call, catastrophe, and support of other company offices
  • Leading change in a positive and constructive way
  • Nurturing talent for future advancement opportunities
  • Managing various office administration functions such as auto repair, office cleaning, and supplies management
  • Enforcing all company policies
  • Contributing actively to the growth and maturation of the company as a whole
  • Other related duties as assigned


Qualifications: 

  • Ability to understand medium-complexity financial and operations reports
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  • Proficient with mobile technology.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Experience with T&M billing and Xactimate
  • Valid Driving License and pass a MVR check in accordance with company policies
  • Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with company policies
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen in accordance with company policies


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration is beneficial; however, relevant industry experience is strongly preferred and may be considered in lieu of formal education
  • A minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience in reconstruction, construction, or restoration is strongly preferred


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities
  • Occasional day or overnight travel to the company’s various locations


Salary: 90,000-110,000
