Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated BehaviorTechnician to join our team. This role is vital in providing support to individuals with Autism. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to patient care, possess strong crisis management skills, and have experience working with diverse populations.
Duties
- Work with children and teens with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Teach language, social, motor, play, and daily living skills (ADLs)
- Maintain a fun, interactive, and organized environment
- Build relationships with clients and families
- Document behaviors
- Collaborate with Speech and Occupational Therapy departments
- Maintain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification and Quality Behavioral Solutions (QBS) Safety-Care Training
Experience
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including autism and developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis techniques
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health care
- Experience in patient care settings or mental health facilities
- Crisis management and intervention skills
