We are seeking a motivated Part-Time Driver to join our dynamic transportation team! Duties
- Safely operate a vehicle such as a Van transport goods or passengers.
- Load and unload cargo using equipment like Luggage proper handling and securement.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles to verify mechanical condition, fluid levels, safety features, and compliance with regulations.
- Follow designated routes accurately while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries or pickups efficiently.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Assist as needed to support overall operations.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred.
- Proven experience operating various commercial vehicles such as box trucks, flatbeds, or shuttle buses; familiarity with manual transmissions is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Ability to load & unload guest luggage.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
- Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform moving tasks regularly.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy haul, heavy equipment operation, or tanker trucks is desirable but not mandatory.
