Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface sanitation to maintain hygiene standards.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure safe and effective results.
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing for clients.
• Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, carpet cleaning, and applying protective treatments to preserve flooring quality.
• Manage outdoor work responsibilities including patio cleaning, outdoor surface maintenance, and light gardening tasks when required.
• Utilize janitorial and custodial experience to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to health guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific needs and provide exceptional customer service tailored to residential settings.
• Practice manual handling techniques for heavy lifting of furniture or supplies safely while following proper protocols.
• Ensure all surfaces are cleaned thoroughly with attention to detail, including kitchen counters, bathroom fixtures, windowsills, and appliances.
• Support housekeeping management by organizing supplies, tracking cleaning schedules, and maintaining inventory of cleaning products.

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with strong janitorial or custodial background.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures including sanitation standards for various surfaces and materials.
• Expertise in using cleaning detergents, floor care products, carpet cleaners, and other specialized equipment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently during outdoor or indoor work.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within scheduled timeframes.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
• Experience with laundry processes including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and stain removal.
• Familiarity with hotel or hospitality housekeeping practices is a plus for delivering high-quality service standards.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use to ensure a safe working environment.

Pay: $14.50 per hour
