Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. The ideal candidate will ensure a welcoming environment for guests by providing exceptional custodial and cleaning services. This role is essential to uphold the high standards of our hospitality establishment, contributing to guest satisfaction and the smooth operation of the hotel.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish amenities as needed
- Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning to maintain a pristine environment
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks when required, including deep cleaning of carpets, upholstery, and windows
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, elevators, and other common areas
- Report maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and linens
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is desirable but not required
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
