Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role requires excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced hotel environment. Prior hotel or resort experience is preferred, along with proficiency in hospitality management and guest relations.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures
- Manage reservations and room assignments using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain accurate guest records and process payments securely
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure rooms are prepared for new guests
- Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating with guests via phone or in person
- Assist with night audit procedures as needed to reconcile daily transactions
- Promote hotel services and amenities to maximize guest engagement and satisfaction
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
- Excellent communication skills, including bilingual abilities preferred for diverse guest interactions
- Experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations highly desirable
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems
- Ability to handle guest relations with professionalism and tact
- Familiarity with resort or hotel environments, including night audit procedures is a plus
- Multitasking ability in a dynamic setting while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $7.75 - $9.00 per hour
