Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of public areas, hallways, lobbies, and guest corridors to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces and meeting rooms as needed.
- Support housekeeping staff by replenishing supplies and delivering linens or amenities to guest rooms.
- Conduct routine floor care including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Maintain cleanliness in service areas, storage closets, and janitorial carts to ensure operational efficiency.
- Follow safety procedures during cleaning tasks and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest safety.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within hotels or hospitality environments.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, waxing, and polishing.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies for efficient maintenance tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of hospitality operations and guest service principles is a plus.
