Intensive In-Home Human Service Counselor

Pay Scale: QP: $23.07/hr.-$24.04/hr.

Summary:

Under indirect supervision, provides, oversees, and/or administers a wide range of psychosocial evaluation/assessment, diagnostic, counseling therapy, crisis intervention services in a high-intensity clinical environment which requires a high degree of independent decision-making. May be asked to lead, or train lower level counselors, students and/or interns engaged in therapeutic patient care activities, as appropriate to the individual position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides individual, group and family therapy and subsequent paperwork.
• Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning, case support activities
• Provides crisis intervention consultation to all members of the team
• Participates in peer review process for therapists
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor

Education and/or Experience: An Associates or bachelor’s degree in social work, Counseling or other Human Services field or have equivalent experience with certification with two years of experience with the population served; Qualified Professional (QP) designation required. And one year of experience working with Adolescence.
