Job Type: Part-Time Non-Exempt

Shifts: 6-8 hour shifts per day / Rotating Schedule

Compensation: $17-19/hr based on experience

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and recommendations to our guests, ensuring they have a positive experience at our dispensary. You will be required to be on your feet for long hours, work in a fast-paced environment, and perform multiple tasks including working as a budtender/cashier, greeting and verifying guests, running product, and ensuring accuracy of orders.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide customers with product information, answer questions, and make recommendations based on their needs
• Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately and securely
• Maintain an organized and clean dispensary environment
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to compliance, safety, and security
• Other duties as assigned

Additional Responsibilities:

• Check identification to ensure customers are of legal age to purchase cannabis products
• Follow all security protocols to ensure the safety of employees, customers, and products
• Maintain strict compliance with all state and local laws and regulations related to cannabis sales and distribution
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay up-to-date on changes in laws and regulations
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, even in difficult situations
• Work with management and team members to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
• As a Budtender, you will play a critical role in maintaining the security and compliance of our operations. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, responsible, and able to follow strict protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone in our dispensary.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior retail, Hospitality, or Customer Service experience required
• Knowledge of cannabis products and the industry preferred (dispensary training will be provided)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must receive state approval for badging
