What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Marketing Coordinator position at Dayglo Presents?
ABOUT THE ROLE
Dayglo Presents and The Rock and Roll Playhouse are growing and we need a versatile digital marketing operator who can move between brands, formats, and audiences without missing a beat. This is a newly expanded full time position that combines the existing RRPH social and digital advertising workload with a broader scope of support across Dayglo Presents and its portfolio of destination events, independent concerts, and partner productions.
You will be the person who keeps all of our digital touchpoints sharp and consistent, from an Instagram reel for a destination event in Morocco to a Facebook ad driving ticket sales for a Miami Beach Bandshell show. You are not just a scheduler or a booster. You are a storyteller who understands audiences, understands music, and understands what moves people to buy a ticket.
ABOUT THE COMPANIES
Dayglo Presents is the event production and marketing arm helmed by Peter Shapiro, producing concerts and destination experiences across the country and internationally. Projects span intimate venue shows, festival activations, and immersive multi-day travel events.
The Rock and Roll Playhouse is the premier live music experience for kids and families, operating at 50 venues nationally including Brooklyn Bowl, The Bluebird Theater, First Avenue, and beyond. RRPH produces roughly 300 shows per year, translating the music of legendary artists into age appropriate, high energy concerts that speak to music loving Millennial parents as much as their kids. Think Grateful Dead for Kids, Taylor Swift for Kids, Talking Heads for Kids, and everything in between. This is not Baby Shark. This is real music, real rooms, real community.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Rock & Roll Playhouse (approx. 20 hours/week)
- Manage all RRPH social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and any emerging platforms, including content scheduling, community management, and engagement

- Coordinate with RRPH venue partners, bookers, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate show info, assets, and on sale timing are reflected in ad campaigns
- Contribute to content ideation and maintain a rolling content calendar informed by the RRPH brand strategy and our target audience of music loving Millennial parents
Dayglo Presents & Project Portfolio (approx. 20 hours/week)
- Own the Dayglo Presents social media presence across Instagram and LinkedIn maintaining a cohesive voice and posting cadence that reflects the brand

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- 2 to 4 years of experience in social media management and/or digital marketing, ideally in live events, music, entertainment, or a consumer brand with an active touring or event calendar
- Demonstrated hands on experience running paid advertising campaigns on Meta, including ad set structure, audience targeting, creative specs, and budget management
- Proficiency with Meta Ads Manager and comfort interpreting campaign performance data
- Ability to manage a high volume of concurrent campaigns and deadlines without letting things fall through the cracks
- Strong writing skills and a clear sense of brand voice across different audiences and tones
- Genuine fluency in social media as a user and a content creator, not just a scheduler
Preferred
- Experience working in or alongside live music, venue operations, or event production
- Familiarity with the jam, Americana, indie, or festival music world and its communities
- Experience email and contest platforms
- Experience managing social content for multiple brands or accounts simultaneously
- Comfort with basic graphic design tools such as Canva for quick content creation
- Experience with Google Analytics, Bandsintown, or other ticketing adjacent promotional platforms
IDEAL CANDIDATES
You love music and you take it seriously. You follow shows, you know the difference between a Brooklyn Bowl crowd and an Elsewhere crowd, and you understand why someone would fly to Morocco to see The String Cheese Incident play three nights in a row. You are also a digital native who can move fast, context switch without losing your head, and manage a lot of moving parts while keeping the work quality high. You are organized but not rigid, creative but not precious, and you take real ownership of your portfolio.
