Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development, early learning skills, and social-emotional growth.
- Supervise children during play, meals, naps, and educational activities to ensure safety and engagement at all times.
- Facilitate classroom management by organizing activities that encourage participation, cooperation, and positive behavior management.
- Provide attentive toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that supports learning and safety standards in line with childcare regulations.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about each child's progress, milestones, and any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols such as first aid procedures and emergency response plans.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare settings or preschool environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Certification or training in first aid and CPR is required. Assistance will be given to obtain certificate.
- Strong classroom management skills combined with patience, compassion, and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to handle caregiving responsibilities such as diapering, feeding, and behavior management effectively.
- Experience working with diverse groups of children including those requiring special attention or accommodations is advantageous.
