Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development, early learning skills, and social-emotional growth.
• Supervise children during play, meals, naps, and educational activities to ensure safety and engagement at all times.
• Facilitate classroom management by organizing activities that encourage participation, cooperation, and positive behavior management.
• Provide attentive toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that supports learning and safety standards in line with childcare regulations.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about each child's progress, milestones, and any concerns.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols such as first aid procedures and emergency response plans.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in daycare settings or preschool environments is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
• Certification or training in first aid and CPR is required. Assistance will be given to obtain certificate.
• Strong classroom management skills combined with patience, compassion, and excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to handle caregiving responsibilities such as diapering, feeding, and behavior management effectively.
• Experience working with diverse groups of children including those requiring special attention or accommodations is advantageous.
