Early Childhood Teacher - Toddlers

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic individual to join our team as an Toddler Teacher in our preschool program. As an Toddler Teacher, you will provide a nurturing and safe environment for infants to develop and reach age appropriate milestones. You will verbally engage the infants throughout the day in addition to incorporating play activities. You will maintain the feeding schedule with the bottles and foods provided by the parents. Your role will be essential in providing quality care and education to promote each infant's development.

Responsibilities:

- Provide a safe and loving environment for the toddlers in your care.

- Change diapers as needed.

- Support the maintenance of a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.

- Provide individualized attention and guidance to meet the needs of each child.

- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

- Assist with record keeping, including tracking attendance, assessments, and observations.

- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1 years experience working with infants.

- High school diploma or equivalent;

- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with children.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting.

- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

- Child Development Associate (CDA) certification or Head Teacher Certificate.
