Role Overview: Join a dentist-founded mission to bring simple, life-changing sleep apnea care to millions—no masks, no machines, no sleep labs. As a Market Development Manager in Daybreak’s Professional channel, you will identify, close, and grow referral partnerships with sleep clinics, pulmonologists, ENT offices, primary care physicians, DME providers, wellness companies, and MSOs—delivering our clinically proven at-home sleep test and custom oral appliance therapy to patients who deserve real restful sleep.
What You’ll Do
- Proactively identify and outreach new partnership opportunities across sleep medicine, primary care, ENT, DME, and wellness providers
- Conduct high-impact video and in-person presentations that educate providers on Daybreak’s turnkey program and close referral agreements
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to consistently hit and exceed monthly/quarterly acquisition and volume targets
- Partner with Daybreak’s clinical and patient support teams to ensure seamless onboarding, exceptional patient compliance, and ongoing provider education
- Build and nurture long-term relationships through regular touchpoints (phone, email, in-office visits) that drive retention and growth
- Represent Daybreak at national and regional sleep conferences, trade shows, and key industry events
- Deliver Provider feedback and market insights to internal teams to continuously improve our offering and stay ahead of industry trends and regulations
Who Thrives Here
- 2–5 years of outside sales or account management experience in medical devices, healthcare services, DME, or sleep medicine (dental sales background also a strong fit)
- Driven, Self-motivated closer with a proven history of meeting or exceeding targets
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills—comfortable engaging everyone from staff to C-suite
- Natural problem-solver who anticipates needs and delivers solutions
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined with follow-through
- Team player who collaborates seamlessly internally and externally
- Knowledge of sleep apnea diagnosis and treatment pathways strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Work Environment & Travel
- Field-based, home-office role
- 50% regional travel to provider offices, plus occasional overnight travel for conferences and training
Compensation: Competitive market DOE
