Job Summary

The AI Analyst bridges business requirements and AI/ML solutions by identifying high-value use cases, defining requirements, and developing proof-of-concept models. Partners with stakeholders to translate ideas into actionable concepts and validate them prior to full-scale development.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify and evaluate AI-driven improvement opportunities. Facilitate discovery sessions to understand processes, pain points, and desired outcomes. 25%
• Translate business needs into structured requirements, user stories, and high-level solution concepts. Build, deploy, and support AI agents to improve user efficiency. Ensure clarity and alignment between business expectations and technical feasibility. 20%
• Develop and deliver proof-of-concept solutions to validate ideas and demonstrate feasibility. Use lightweight technical approaches to reduce ambiguity before development investment. 20%
• Leverage SQL and Python to explore data, perform analysis, and prototype solution logic. Support data-driven decision-making and validate assumptions. 15%
• Work closely with IT and development teams to transition validated concepts into build-ready solutions. Provide context, requirements, and ongoing clarification throughout delivery. 10%
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and support prioritization of AI use cases based on business value and feasibility. 10%
  
  

KSAs (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)

• Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skills
• Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python for data analysis and prototyping
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts with proficiency in AI chatbots and Agentic AI tools. (ChatGPT, CoPilot)
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience) required
• 4 years of relevant experience required
• 2 years experience in business analysis, analytics or a related role required
• Experience working with AI/ML tools (ChatGPT, CoPilot), APIs or agile delivery environments preferred
• Great attitude and team player.
• Successful completion of background and drug screening process.
  
  

Compensation And Benefits

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $101,840.00 - $165,490.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
