Day Two Automotive is an established automotive shop that specializes in the maintenance, repairs, and modifications of American Muscle Cars, Classic Cars, and Hot Rods.
We are looking for an experienced mechanic to join our fast growing business.
Responsibilities
Pay commensurate with experience.
Diagnose and repair automotive vehicles
Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance
Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs
Source parts needed for the job
Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
Communicate effectively with customers about repairs and maintenance needs and provide recommendations for future work
Qualifications
Valid Drivers License
Reliable transportation
In-depth knowledge of classic car mechanics, including but not limited to engines, transmissions, braking systems, fuel systems, ignition systems, suspension, electrical systems, HVAC systems and exhaust systems
Knowledge of shop equipment
Ability to do light fabrication
Ability to MIG weld
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Ability to work with others
Self motivation
Cleanliness
Strong passion for keeping these cars on the road
Organization skills
