Responsibilities
- Develop detailed structural drawings and schematics using AutoCAD and Revit
- Collaborate closely with engineers and architects to interpret design concepts and translate them into technical drafts.
- Prepare 2D plans, sections, elevations, and details for various structural components.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety codes and industry standards.
- Maintain organized digital files of all drawings, ensuring version control and easy accessibility for team members.
Experience
- Experience in structural drafting or a related field within architecture or civil engineering preferred.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam for document management.
- Familiarity with construction drawing design and development.
- Experience working on construction projects from initial design through to completion is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of drafting standards, building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
