The Driver Manager is a member of the Day & Ross Operations Team. The role requires driver managers to ensure safe, on-time delivery for various customers, while maximizing the productivity and profitability of an assigned fleet of drivers and trucks. Driver Managers are also responsible for creating a positive quality of work for drivers and provide safe and effective driver management to enhance driver retention.

Trailer Technician
Full-time: 1 st shift, Onsite
York, PA
Responsible for preventative maintenance, pre-inspection maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on the company’s fleet of trucks in accordance with the applicable level of training and apprenticeship.

Responsible for the maintenance and repair of truck trailers according to work orders

How You’ll Help:
- Provide complete load information, including routing and directions to ensure drivers are fully prepared for work assignment.
- Assist/coach driver on time management issues, i.e., departure times, driving time management to insure on-time delivery and hours of services compliance.
- Assist/coach drivers with on-board ELD system and HOS compliance.
- Monitor all on-board ELD message communication.
- Monitor TMS System software for correct trip information and flow.
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company rules.
- Process driver requests for time off according to company policy.
- Minimum of a high school Diploma or GED, with logistics experience preferred
- 4-year college degree preferred
- Knowledge and experience in transportation is required.
- TMS System software expertise preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT Rules and Regulations.

- Maintaining safe shop environment (may include snow removal from the roof, de-icing, washing vehicles, sweeping, etc.
- Maintenance and repair of truck bodies, including miscellaneous accessories such as hub caps, decals, reflective tape, painting, etc.

- At least two years' experience as a Truck Technician or in a similar capacity
- Candidates enrolled in truck repair apprenticeship may also be considered.
- Strong knowledge of transportation industry rules and regulations regarding transport trucks and components
