Day Mechanical Systems, Inc. a Woman-Owned Cedar Rapids Mechanical Contractor is seeking a full-time employee to work in our fast-paced environment. Our growing commercial service division is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to become an HVAC service technician to maintain customer satisfaction for the company.
The service technician would perform maintenance and repairs on commercial heating and air conditioning systems, boilers and controls as directed by the Service Manager.
Requirements:
- State of Iowa Journeymen HVAC license or its equivalent with at least 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and organizational skills to interact with customers and other coworkers
- Available to be on call for weekends/after hours, overtime, and perform service calls as needed
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
