What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aerospace QC Inspector position at Day Machine Systems, Inc.?
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team! You will conduct tests to determine the quality of materials and finished products as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- QC Inspection
- Visual Inspection
- Material and/or machining defects
- Dimensional inspection
- Utilizing Micro-Hite, Micrometers, Comparators, Pins, thread gages, etc.
- CMM Operation
- First article inspection, In process inspection.
- Blue-print reading
- Understanding of GD&T
- Part marking
- Setup/Operation utilizing SIC laser marking machine
- Utilizing SIC laser marking machine
- Verify work to information listed on associated paperwork.
- Ensuring all steps and properly filled out on travelers.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous work experience in quality control or other related fields
- Proficient in blue-print reading
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Geometric tolerances
- Knowledge of PC-DMIS software preferred.
