Day Kimball Health is hiring for a Chaplain (Per Diem) for the Pastoral Care Department in Putnam, CT! Chaplain (Per Diem) Benefits Summary:

- Primary responsibility for the provision of pastoral care for in-patients, oncology, emergency room patients and Hospice and Palliative Care patients and their families
- On call as needed
- Responds to codes and emergencies when in house and when on call
- Charts in-patient and oncology visits appropriately
- Makes sure that Hospice pastoral visits are appropriately recorded in the electronic chart
- Provides for and models confidentiality in all areas of patient/family and staff support
- Be aware of his/her pastoral identity, be able to work as part of a team.
- Bachelor's Degree and M.Div. Theological education as required for ordination in ministry by the sponsoring faith group.
- Accredited CPE training. Able to produce documentation
- (verification) of this, with a letter of recommendation.
- Certified by the Association of Professional Chaplains or National Association of Catholic Chaplains.
- Be duly ordained and recognized as a member in good standing by the appropriate ecclesiastical sponsoring body.
- Minimum of three years of pastoral care/ministry experience.
