Project Controls Tech (Level 1)

Day & Zimmermann is seeking a Project Controls Tech for an augmented position at TVA Shawnee.

Position Summary
This is an entry level to minimum experience position, that may include individuals who have had previous experience within other functional areas. Under general supervision the individual performs the routine aspects of scheduling, cost analysis, scope control tracking and reporting. With additional experience within one specialty, the individual is expected to participate in larger and more complex project controls assignments.
Key Responsibilities

• Exposure to all aspects of cost control (development of craft/staff rates, study end users procedures, perform exercises in SAP, and cost report development). Also, exposure to all proprietary software (PC Lite, D&Z Estimator, Win Estimator, and Web Tool Box).
• Once training is complete; support wbs development, budget creation, and other aspects in SAP.
• Support the development of Project Status Reports, field site Load Boards and Web Tool Box cost reports.
• Assist with the execution of financial management, that includes budgets, tracking invoice milestones (as needed), reviewing timesheets, and earn value analysis, monitoring/forecasting cost.
• Support project and project definition close-out.
• Exposure to scheduling basics to assist efforts for in-house projects and field activities.

Experience/Preferred Skills
Entry level up to three years’ experience in related project controls assignments
Education
High School
