We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in assigned areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Handle commercial cleaning duties in offices, restrooms, and common areas to ensure a sanitary environment.
- Assist with custodial tasks including trash removal, restroom sanitation, and replenishing supplies.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to management.
- Maintain equipment used for cleaning and ensure it is in good working condition.
- Occasionally assist with residential painting or porter duties as needed.
Experience
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Experience in floor care methods such as buffing and waxing is advantageous.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices will be beneficial.
