- Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing forklift trucks at customer and company locations
- Completing detailed service reports including work carried out, parts used, and time taken
- Inspecting equipment and providing clear feedback on condition and required repairs
- Building strong relationships with customers while representing the business professionally
- Working independently while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency
You will come from a forklift, plant, or automotive background and be confident working autonomously in a field-based role. This position suits someone practical, dependable, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Experience working on forklift trucks, plant equipment, or automotive vehicles
- City and Guilds qualification or equivalent in a mechanical discipline
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Ability to work on diesel, LPG, and electrical systems
- Must supply your own hand tools, specialist tools will be provided
