Summary: This position is in support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) onboard Fort Belvoir or other contract locations. Contingent upon contract award.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Understands requirements gather, planning, execution, and post exercise assessment
- Plans, coordinates, and manages related engineering projects
- Define and execute engineering activities within a project
- Assist in identifying and implementing best engineering practices to assess and evaluate Chemical, Biological, Radiation, and Nuclear (CBRN) technologies
- Support development of test and engineering system performance and analysis of documentation
- Perform quality control and modeling, simulation, and analysis to support the CWMD programs
- Provide technical analysis and interpretation of complex data
- Provide subject matter expertise for nuclear research and CBRN development efforts
- Assist in systems engineering processes to establish requirements of networked detection systems
- Develop project documentation requirements and schedules.
- Assist with development, fielding and sustaining equipment
- Conduct systems engineering tasks in support of CBRN systems
- Disciplines range from structural, civil, mechanical, and electrical
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
- 7-10 years of related experience.
- Prior Department of Defense related experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) completion
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance
- Experience supporting DTRA mission areas and exercise programs preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- U.S. citizen
