Overview
Join our healthcare team as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, where your expertise will directly impact patient care and medication safety. In this vital role, you will support the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications, entering orders, review for medication interactions, and direct contact with patients regarding their medications.
Responsibilities
Assist pharmacist with medication preparation, verification, and dispensing in accordance with medical orders and pharmacy protocols. Manage medication inventory, including stock replenishment, storage, and proper documentation to maintain optimal supply levels. Perform patient intake procedures by accurately collecting relevant information and updating electronic health records. Provide medication information, answer questions, and ensure timely medication fulfillment. Work with our Parata Max robot including ordering and restocking medications. Receipt and check-in of daily pharmacy medications and OTC stock.
Assist with pharmacy counter customer assistance, including retrieval and check out of prescriptions. Assist with general customer requests.
- Experience
Previous pharmacy technician experience in retail pharmacy is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy technician skills. Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and inventory control processes. Strong patient service skills with a focus on compassionate communication and attention to detail. Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
