Position Overview:
The Elementary Paraprofessional will assist teachers in delivering instruction, supervising students, and maintaining a positive classroom environment. This role is essential in supporting student success and ensuring a safe and productive school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist teachers in delivering instruction and reinforcing learning concepts
-Provide one-on-one and small group support to students
-Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, cafeteria, playground, and school activities
-Help maintain a positive classroom environment aligned with district expectations
-Assist with preparation and organization of instructional materials and activities
-Support student behavior management and encourage appropriate social interactions
-Collaborate with teachers and staff to support instructional goals
-Monitor student use of materials and equipment to ensure safety
-Distribute classroom materials, meals, or supplies as needed
-Attend staff meetings and required professional development
-Report concerns related to student safety, including suspected abuse or neglect
-Perform additional duties as assigned by campus administration
