The Early Childhood Curriculum Program Supervisor provides statewide leadership and oversight for curriculum implementation, instructional quality initiatives, and educator support activities designed to strengthen early childhood classroom practices across Arkansas. The position supervises Early Childhood Regional Specialists and supports statewide implementation of the Pre-K RISE Initiative, including Launchpad, LETRS for Early Childhood (EC), and an Early Childhood Comprehensive Curriculum aligned to the Arkansas Child Development and Early Learning Standards (AR CDELS).
The position also supports statewide implementation of the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) observation framework and related coaching, professional development, and instructional quality initiatives. The Program Supervisor works under the direction of the Arkansas Department of Education Office of Early Childhood and collaborates with state, regional, and local partners to improve instructional quality and outcomes for children ages birth to five years.
