- Provide daily care and enrichment for animals, including feeding, grooming, and cleaning enclosures to maintain a hygienic environment
- Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques tailored to each species and individual needs
- Maintain detailed records of animal health, behavior, and treatment plans using our documentation standards
- Help animals find forever homes
- Tend to dishes, laundry and regular facility maintenance to keep facility clean and functioning.
- Prior experience working with animals in a kennel or animal husbandry setting is highly preferred
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and physiology to support clinical activities effectively
- Experience with dog handling, animal restraint, and pet care practices to ensure safety for both animals and staff
- Strong understanding of animal behavior to assist with training, socialization, and handling challenges
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and compassion for animals CRITICAL
