Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager - Wastewater leads the design and construction of infrastructure projects with a focus on wastewater treatment plants. Projects are primarily in Southeast Alaska and Northwest Washington and include Water, Wastewater, Process Piping, Structures, etc. The ideal candidate is a decisive leader with strong client focus, a commitment to safety and a drive to deliver high-quality results.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for the pursuit, planning, bidding, and successful execution of water, wastewater, and process piping infrastructure projects.
- Oversees the design process in collaboration with engineers and consultants, ensuring constructability, budget alignment, and timely design deliverables throughout the design-build lifecycle.
- Leads the preconstruction effort for Construction Manager at Risk and Design Build projects.
- Ensures projects meet a high standard for safety, quality, schedule and client satisfaction.
- Clearly communicates with clients, engineers, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
- Responsible for building and updating detailed and accurate CPM schedules and communicating the overall project plan to the project team and other stakeholders.
- Responsible for the financial success of infrastructure construction projects including tracking and reporting on progress, managing project labor, cost control, change order management and providing monthly projections and project status.
- Ensures the timely procurement of project materials including buy-out, contracting, submittal and shop drawing review and coordination of deliveries.
- Demonstrates a dedication to clients through quality services, building long term relationships, and ensuring projects exceed expectations.
- Travels between Alaska and Washington at least once a month or as needed to ensure project performance.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering, or extensive experience in lieu of education.
- 10 years of project management experience on infrastructure construction projects.
- WWTP Design-Build experience is preferred.

Pay: $135,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
