Are you a night owl with a heart for service? Join our team as an Overnight Care Professional providing attentive, non-medical care to elderly and disabled individuals in the comfort of their own homes — while the rest of the world sleeps.

At Dawson and Dawson, our overnight caregivers are the backbone of our 24-hour care model. You'll bring peace of mind to families knowing their loved ones are safe, comfortable, and well-cared for through every hour of the night.

Available Overnight Shifts:

• 7PM - 7AM
• 8PM - 8AM
• 11PM - 7/ 8AM
  
  
  

Shift differentials offered on a case-by-case basis. Base rate determined by experience.

What You'll Do:

• Provide attentive overnight care and support, including assistance with grooming, dressing, bathing, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Monitor client safety, comfort, and well being throughout the night, responding promptly to any needs that arise
• Assist with light household tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable overnight environment
• Deliver compassionate, specialized care for clients living with Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's disease, or physical disabilities
• Issue medication reminders in accordance with each client's prescribed nighttime schedule
• Accurately document all overnight care services, including care notes, ADLs, and any incident or change-of-condition reports
  
  
  

What We're Looking For:

• Genuine availability and reliability for overnight shifts — this role requires you to be alert and engaged throughout the night
• Previous caregiving experience preferred
• Ability to stay calm, focused, and responsive during nighttime hours and in emergency situations
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing excellent care
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to document and report overnight observations clearly
