Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Daycare Provider to support our lead teachers in providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. The Assistant Daycare Provider will assist in implementing age-appropriate curriculum, supervising children, and maintaining a safe and organized classroom.
Responsibilities:
1. Classroom Support:
- Assist in implementing classroom routines, rules, and procedures to promote a structured and organized learning environment
- Help set up and prepare materials, equipment, and resources for daily activities and learning centers.
- Encourage children to follow directions, participate in activities, and interact positively with their peers.
2. Child Engagement and Supervision:
- Engage with children in a positive and supportive manner, building relationships based on trust and respect.
- Assist in supervising children during classroom activities, transitions, meals, outdoor play, and rest time.
- Help maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring children and addressing any safety concerns promptly.
- Support lead teachers in managing behavior and addressing conflicts or challenges that may arise among children.
3. Health and Safety:
- Assist in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and child-friendly environment by following proper procedures for sanitation, hygiene, and cleanliness.
- Monitor children for signs of illness, injury, or discomfort, and report any concerns to lead teachers or childcare directors.
- Follow emergency procedures and protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related field is desirable).
- Previous experience working with young children in a preschool, daycare, or educational setting is preferred.
- Ability to follow directions, work collaboratively as part of a team, and maintain professionalism.
- Passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards children and families.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Specifications:
- Final wages will be calculated based on experience and certifications.
- No benefits included.
- This is may either be a 1099 position where you will not be on company payroll, or a full time payroll position.

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
