Role Description
LPN’S / RN’S – Dawn of Hope is looking for full time nurses who have a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Annual pay $45,760 , depending on field experience, 12 hour shifts in private homes. Nurse/patient ratio never greater than 1:3, Very low stress.
Paid training provided in working with persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
LPN’S/RN’S provide care to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and in the community.
The support provided will vary from person to person, depending on their specific needs. The nurse will provide a variety of nursing skills based on the medical needs of the people supported under the supervision of our CMO. Care provided can also include things like verbal and physical support in basic daily skills, transportation, home upkeep, meal preparation, therapeutic activities, and recreational activities.
Nurses will work in medical residential sites, generally with no more than 3 people. They work together with other direct support staff in most circumstances in the care they provide.
Health benefits and Paid Time Off available for 30 hour weekly schedule.
Full Time and Part Time positions available with opportunity for overtime.

Qualifications
- Possess a valid LPN or RN license
- Experience in providing medical care, especially to individuals with Developmental Intellectual Disabilities
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is beneficial
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
