Dawn Inspire Internship Program Interns Will Benefit From
Interns will be required to be on-site at the Corporate Jackson office from May 18 - May 21 for onboarding, and from August 4 - 7 for final presentations. These are mandatory in-person participation dates for the internship program.
What Does It Take to be a Supply Chain Planning Intern?

Conduct research on assigned topics and present findings to the team. Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas and contribute to problem-solving efforts. Shadow and learn from experienced professionals in your field of interest. Actively seek opportunities to learn and develop new skills relevant to your career goals. Take initiative to suggest process improvements and contribute innovative ideas. Demonstrate the “Dawn Values” of Team Dawn and support our culture throughout the duration of the Internship Program. What Does It Take to be a Supply Chain Planning Intern?
Below are the minimum qualifications for the Dawn Inspire Internship Program.
- Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree, with an interest in working in the Consumer Product Goods or Food industry.
- The candidate must be entering their junior year or beyond with an interest in logistics.
- Current academic status must reflect good performance in relation to institutional academic standards.
- Strong interest in the industry or field related to the internship.
- Basic knowledge of relevant concepts, principles, and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Adaptability and willingness to embrace feedback and eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Microsoft office, including excel and Outlook.
- Good communication skills and ability to input and analyze data.
- High degree of detail orientation.
- Working with Material planners / Production Schedulers by assisting inbound material flow and aligning the production schedule with Blue Yonder and SAP systems.
- Supporting and documenting the Master data process to ensure master data accuracy.
- Other duties as assigned
