Responsibilities
This is a varied clerical position that involves complex work, methods and problems; therefore, the employee will need the ability to apply independent judgment and interpretation of procedures gained through experience on the job and by establishing a contact system whereby information can be found and applied. Functions of the job include but are not limited to coding/input of claims, payroll processing, running reports relevant to payroll and claims, maintenance of the Clerk's website, assistance with Elections/ Marriage License issuance as required, managing the Insurance/AFLAC/Madison accounts, assist at counter, answer phones and filing.
Experience
Knowledge of computers with accounting background, ability to learn and retain software programs in place, organized, ability to operate standard office equipment such as fax machines, calculators, photocopy machines, etc., ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, manage time effectively and be flexible, experience in customer service helpful and must be a team player willing to accept additional duties as required.
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
