Our client, a leader in the semiconductor industry, is looking for an "Production Planner/Material Planner" based out of San Diego, CA.
Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)
Pay Rate: $35- $40
Job Summary:
Drive material- and capacity‑planning for high‑mix, short lead‑time Filmetrics product line. Translate master schedules into actionable plans, manage shortages, and ensure on‑time delivery through cross‑functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Master Scheduling to align capacity and build targets
- Derive material requirements, coordinate part flow via SAP
- Monitor inventory, lead shortage‑review meetings, escalate critical gaps
- Adjust schedules in response to priority shifts or supply delays
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree; 5 years in production/material planning
- Proficiency in SAP (MM/PP) and advanced Exce
- Strong analytical, communication, and cross‑team collaboration skills
