Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Assist with food handling, food preparation, and sanitation standards to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Clear tables efficiently by bussing and resetting for new guests while maintaining cleanliness standards
- Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
