What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seeking Male-Identifying Actors for Original Musical Workshop and Album Recording position at DAW Studios?
DESCRIPTION
We are seeking talented, charismatic male-identifying actors ages 20–32 for Rocky Bumps, a new original musical preparing for a workshop/staged reading and album recording in New York this Fall.
Set in 1960s Philadelphia, Rocky Bumps follows Rocky, a young man caught between a life of crime and gambling and the girl of his dreams. Based on a true love story, Rocky discovers that happiness and success are not always the same thing.
The world of the musical is steeped in the music and style of the era, when Frankie Valli and Frank Sinatra were at the height of their popularity. We are looking for actors who can capture the charisma, energy, and distinctive performance style of 1960s Philadelphia.
We look forward to seeing your audition!
