Qualifications and responsibilities for this Structural Steel Design Engineer position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution (required).
- 5 years of experience in structural steel design; PE licensure preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Tekla, RISA, RAM or similar structural analysis software AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
- Experience with industrial, commercial, and residential steel and concrete projects.
- Design safe, economical, and code-compliant steel structures and connections.
- Review project drawings, models, and RFIs for constructability and design accuracy.
- Provide technical support throughout the construction process, including site visits.
- Manage design budgets and coordinate effectively with project managers and clients.
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
