We are hiring a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to take a leadership role in managing residential and commercial land development projects—including subdivisions and boundary surveys. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) position include:
- Must be a licensed PLS in the state of Georgia (or able to obtain licensure in a reasonable timeframe)
- Minimum of 5 years of land surveying experience; strong background in residential and commercial surveying preferred
- Experience with Leica equipment and AutoCAD Civil 3D for survey mapping and data collection
- Manage survey projects from planning through final delivery, ensuring timelines and accuracy
- Provide mentorship and oversight to field survey crews and junior staff
- Perform both fieldwork and office-based tasks, including data analysis and client communications
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants on high-profile land development projects
- Lead subdivision design, boundary surveys, topographic mapping, and construction staking
Salary: $70,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus 10% annual bonus potential.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including a 401(k) with 50% match up to 6%, three medical plan options, employee stock purchase program, 18 days PTO annually plus 7 sick days, and flexible vacation for Director-level roles. Benefits begin the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
