Sign Installer Foreman

An established signage company in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a Sign Installer Foreman to lead field installation and service crews on high-quality interior and exterior signage projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a 35 year company specializing in custom signage solutions, where you’ll work hands-on with cranes, bucket trucks, illuminated signs, and a dependable team that values craftsmanship and communication.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Sign Installer Foreman position include:

• 10 years of sign installation experience, including illuminated signage, letters, cabinets, pylons, structures, and other interior/exterior signage
• Must have an active driver’s license and Class C CDL license, with the ability to drive and operate crane/bucket equipment
• Lead installation and service crews while teaching, guiding, and coordinating daily field work
• Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, clients, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed accurately and efficiently
• Take accurate field dimensions, determine equipment needs, and work safely at heights from ladders, baskets, and cranes
• Must have electrical sign installation knowledge and be licensed or willing to become licensed
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and work flexible hours, including occasional overtime or night work
• Strong communication skills, positive attitude, dependability, and ability to pass required background checks

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
