A leading design and engineering firm is seeking a Healthcare Electrical Engineering Leader / Project Manager to oversee a growing portfolio of healthcare projects, including a flagship development in Phoenix, AZ. This role is remote with 20–40% travel, or hybrid if based near a local office. As a senior technical leader, you will guide complex multidisciplinary teams, mentor emerging professionals, and drive innovative electrical design solutions that improve healthcare infrastructure across the region.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Healthcare Electrical Engineering Leader / Project Manager position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering; PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- 15 years of experience designing electrical systems for healthcare facilities
- 8 years of experience managing large-scale, multidisciplinary healthcare projects
- Provide leadership on technical delivery, QA/QC, and code compliance for healthcare electrical systems
- Oversee project financials, risk management, and client negotiations
- Guide career development for junior staff and foster a collaborative, inclusive team culture
- Lead business development, client relationships, and strategic expansion of the healthcare portfolio
- Serve as Engineer of Record on high-profile healthcare projects, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery
Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
