Dialysis Patient Care Technician - Training Provided!

Schedule Overview: This is a full-time role working approximately 34-36 hours/week. If incoming teammate would like more hours they can pick up shifts at neighboring DaVita clinics. PCTs work 3-4 days/week Mon-Sat on a rotating basis. Shifts begin as early as 4am if opening, and end as late as 8pm if closing. Shift lengths in Ellensburg vary between 5-12 hrs long dependent on the day. The schedule is made in advance and Saturdays are rotated.
DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you’ll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

The Wage Range for the role is $19.00 - $29.00/hour.
Patient Care Technician ICHD Resident: $19.00 - $20.00/hour.
If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.
Washington Exempt: $80,168.40/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $19.13/hour, Burien: $21.63/hour, Everette: $20.77/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.82/hour, Renton: $21.57/hour, Seattle: $21.30/hour, Tukwila: $21.65/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $17.13/hour

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
- Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
- Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
- Record vital signs and patient data
- Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
- Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
- Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent
- Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
- Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
- Willing to float between local clinics if needed
- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience
- Paid training with ongoing education and career paths
