What does the LPN/LVN role entail?:
- Schedule: Sun/Tues/Thurs 3:00 pm - 11:00pm or 4:00pm - 12:00am (approximate scheduling need, may vary dependent on patient census) - may have to pick up shifts to maintain full-time hours until census grows for nocturnal program.
- Coverage would include care of approximately 10 patients total - currently we have 1 RN and 1 Dialysis Tech, looking to add an LPN to the nocturnal team.
- Our LPNs also find DaVita professionally fulfilling. To help advance your career, we offer clear paths to higher levels of responsibility and compensation by climbing our clinical ladder.
- You must have experience in dialysis already. We can provide training if you are not experienced through DaVita specifically.
- You are reliable (attendance and punctuality are crucial), have a desire to help people, are looking for a career with a company you can grow with, are comfortable with the nocturnal shift, and love making a difference.
- What does a successful LPN/LVN look like?
- Minimum of 1 year hospital or clinical experience
- High School Diploma (HSD) or GED with a current LPN-LVN license in the state you are applying
- Current CPR certification, IV certification required if required by state regulations.
- Experience required can include: BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT).
