DaVita is hiring a Dialysis Charge Nurse (aka Clinical Coordinator) to lead outpatient dialysis care for patients with end-stage renal disease. In this role, you’ll oversee treatment, guide clinical staff, and ensure the highest standards of care and safety.
Clinic Details
- Current clinic hours : M/W/F 5:00am - 9:00pm
- This clinic will eventually add a TTS shift, but there is not yet a firm date for that.
- The CC will be expected to work 3 X 12 hour shifts/week, either 5:00am - 5:00pm or 9:00am - 9:00 on MWF (alternating schedule)
- The clinic currently has 21 chairs, soon to decrease to 19 chairs (2 stations going to HHD).
- Fresenius machines are used at this location
- Staffing is 2 RNs and 4 PCTs per shift. One of the RNs works a pod.
- Coordinate patient care plans and monitor outcomes
- Supervise clinical staff, including PCTs
- Ensure safe, compassionate dialysis delivery
- Build long-term relationships with patients and families
- Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Current RN license and CPR certification
- 18 months RN experience, including 6 months dialysis
- Charge RN readiness approval required
- ADN required; BSN preferred
- ICU, ER, or Med/Surg experience preferred
- CNN/CDN certification a plus
- Basic computer skills (MS Word, Outlook)
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
