Duties
- Process a variety of banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, and loan payments with accuracy and efficiency
- Manage cash handling duties, ensuring proper cash management, debits & credits, and balancing cash drawers at the end of each shift
- Assist customers with basic banking needs such as account inquiries and explaining banking products and services
- Identify opportunities for upselling additional financial products and services that meet customer needs
- Detect and prevent fraudulent activities by adhering to security protocols and monitoring suspicious transactions
- Cultivate strong customer relationships through personalized service, relationship management, and proactive communication
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and active listening abilities
- Strong basic math skills including retail math, cash handling, and 10 key typing proficiency
- Ability to maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Effective relationship management skills to build trust and loyalty with clients
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
