Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative works to provide customers with the best possible service by accurately and efficiently responding to e-mail requests, answering phone calls, and relaying information to the appropriate parties. They must have excellent communication skills, as they serve as a liaison between customers, operations, and drivers from the initial request of service to the time of completion. The Customer Service Representative is good at multi-tasking and prioritizing time-sensitive tasks, as well as working in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment. This position is also responsible for accurate data entry to ensure that services are completed according to the customer's request. The main purpose of this role is to ensure that operations run smoothly by keeping peers and customers updated with the latest information, making sure to address any issues as soon as they arise.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Data entry tasks (Service requests, Proof of Delivery, etc)
- Answer e-mails/telephones and provide information regarding shipment status
- Print delivery paperwork and sort into its corresponding date
- Track and call drivers for updates on ETAs
- Relay driver issues to customers for immediate assistance
- Calculate quotes for customers on provided services
- Call customers to schedule pickups and deliveries
Schedule: Day Shift - Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Pay Starting At: $21-25/hr depending on experience

- Customer Service experience (1 year minimum)

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
