What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cosmetology Receptionist and Dispensary Part-time position at Davis Technical College?
Responsible for all reception duties including scheduling appointments, customer service and retail sales.
Hours: 15-20 hours per week, and available to cover shifts. No weekends
- Responsible for maintaining reception area in a clean an organized manner.
- Schedules appointments for clientele over the phone and walk-ins.
- Assists customers with obtaining services.
- Collects payments for services and retail sales.
- Handle front desk duties
- Schedule appointments
- Answer phones
- Sell retail
- Finalize sales
- Handle money and tips
- Provide client customer service
- Be on task with other salon duties, such as cleaning and laundry
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of customer experience and or receptionist experience.
- Must have competent computer skills and people skills.
- Must be available to work variable shifts.
- Students enrolled in the Cosmetology, Nail Technology, or Esthetician program are not eligible to apply. Employees working in Cosmetology are not eligible to enroll in the Cosmetology, Nail Technology, or Esthetician programs.
Experience directly related to Cosmetology.
