Material Handler

We are seeking a reliable and organized Material Handler to join our customer's warehouse team in Alsip, IL. This role requires experience operating a forklift, handling materials, and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, follow direction effectively, and adapt to changing priorities throughout the day.

Job Qualifications Include:

• Previous warehouse experience required

• Forklift operation experience required

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Good communication skills

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed

• Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change throughout the day

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse

• Load and unload shipments

• Sort and organize inventory and materials

• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds

• Complete all tasks assigned by the supervisor

• Assist with inventory management and warehouse organization

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Support ongoing inventory system improvements and changes

Job Details Include:

• 2nd shift

• Monday - Friday

• 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm

• $19 an hour with overtime as needed
